ALL CHINESE ORCHESTRA MEMBERS, this is a simple blog reminder to students about the new systems implemented to improve the poor discipline of Chinese Orchestra.
DISCIPLINE Problems:
Punctuality [Late-Comers]
Attendance [Frequent Absence]
Commitment [Lack of Bonding and Commitment]
Scores [Messy!]
Cleanliness [Messy!]
Instruments [Spoil/Damage]
Solutions derived:
Punctuality:
It's always advised and best to be present by 15 minutes before the starting of Co-curriculum activities, regardless whether it's combined or sectional practise.
A given time limit, of within 20 minutes constrain will be allowed for UPPER SEC with later time-release.
If lessons are delayed by supplementary classes or time-table schedule beyond the time limit, please apply for a little note with signature from subject teacher to excuse for your absence.
CONSEQUENCES:
$1 fine [and thereafter]
It was decided. Warning letter will be issue when 2 late-coming are accumulated. [Warning Letter System will be briefed later on]
Attendance:
Medical Certificate. It is the student's responsibility to duplicate copies of Medical Certificate and hand it to teacher-in-charge. So no excuses.
Parents letter. For really hard-core reasons, parent's letter can excuse students with Valid Reason for not attending. [*subject to statistics]
Lessons occupied the whole time slot. It's again the student's responsibility to get excuse letter from subject teacher.
CONSEQUENCES:
$2 FINE
Warning letter will be issued upon it's absence without valid reason.
Cleanliness - Scores / Instruments
Duty roster are to be EXECUTED by respective sections.
Scores found dumped around on floor creating a mess - each score will fine $0.10 of each member from the score's respective section groups.
JUNIORS attaining SENIOR instruments only with APPROVAL from SENIORS.
This section will still be upgraded A.S.A.P.
CONSEQUENCES:
$0.10/member FINE for /Score
WARNING LETTER SYSTEM How it works? The warning letter is a TERM-TO-TERM basis system. There will be 2 warning letters followed by a see-your-parent information letter.
ALL letters issued are to be signed and return to the in-charge
First and Second Warning Letters are WHITE.
The 3rd Letter, is a RED letter. When this letter is issued, your parent will have to make a trip to school.
ALL LETTERS either by punctuality or attendance are of same system. Which means, the letters issued are the same. [E.g. you recieved 2 letters from attendance, and if you are late for 2 times, you will recieve a red letter, and your parent WILL have to make a trip to school.]
FINE Against fine issues, all members are treated equally.

Designer's design that is chosen, the designer will have it's tee shirt for FREE.

Friday 20-07-07 Pei Xin Primary School Performance Estimated time: 8a.m. till 9a.m. All Sec 4 seniors, and other interested students are greatly encouraged to participate in this coming performance during the day of Bizarre. Though it clashes on the same day, but the time does not clash, exceptional: people who are setting up the stalls.
So Please confirm if you are going to YIN CHOW by SUNDAY TOMORROW, 15-07-07
please attend the combined practise this coming Friday dated: 6th July 07 . All members inclusive of all sec Ones and Twos are also to attend the Friday Practise for admin purposes.
Price can go even lower. {Also known friends's company}

Introducing this suggestion, hoping for a populared reply. Please tag your views on this suggestion, on if you are interested to get your own /ANOTHER/ piece of clothing to CCHY.CO! If you are confirm that you would like to chip in for a piece {pay for your own, no subsidised, depending on reaction: requesting}, CONFIRM and i will discuss further, and bring the first choice's portfolio (rent der lol) to discuss.
If it's successful, many of FULL orchestra is interested, deposit of FULL amount will have to be paid, to avoid loansharks getting debts. :D! Personally, i encouraged for the first choice cause the company also would provide a skin for us, requested, if we render this shirt-making opportuinity to them. And also they provide professional DESIGNS to choose.
